Daniel Miller Arrested in Pursuit Crash on Sierra Avenue [Fontana, CA]

Fontana, CA (April 29, 2023) – On April 27, the authorities arrested Daniel Miller, 33, in a pursuit crash on Sierra Avenue resulting in injuries.

At about 3:49 p.m., the authorities received a report about a reckless and possible DUI driver at the intersection with Arrow Boulevard. The authorities spotted the vehicle at Sierra Avenue and Upland Avenue, and an officer attempted to stop the black Hyundai Elantra for swerving in the north lanes. However, the driver immediately made a U-turn and did not yield, as to why the officers started a pursuit.

The Hyundai driver accelerated and swerved across all lanes of Sierra Avenue and the oncoming vehicles. As a result, the vehicle crashed into two other vehicles waiting for the light at the intersection of Sierra Avenue and San Bernardino Avenue.

The authorities arrested Daniel Miller without further incident.

Moreover, a person in another vehicle was taken via ambulance to an area hospital.

The paramedics also took Miller to a local hospital for medical clearance before the officers booked him on suspicion of DUI at West Valley Detention Center.
