Two Llano County Teens Killed in Head-On Crash on RM 2900

Llano County, TX (February 4, 2026) — Danielle Rushton and Zackary Frischmann lost their lives and another person suffered serious injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Llano County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 11:47 a.m.on RM 2900.

Investigators said a Toyota Camry was traveling north when it left the roadway and entered the grass shoulder. The driver then overcorrected while reentering the road, causing the Camry to collide with a southbound GMC Canyon on the passenger side.

The impact killed the Camry’s occupants, identified as 18-year-old Frischmann and 17-year-old Rushton, both from Burnet County. Emergency crews airlifted the GMC Canyon’s driver to a hospital with incapacitating injuries.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
