Pedestrian Danny Estis Killed in 83rd Street Hit-and-Run Crash [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (June 29, 2025) – 62-year-old Danny Estis was killed in an 83rd Street hit-and-run crash Friday night.

It was around 9:15 p.m. when a light, white-colored SUV that was traveling north on Western Avenue struck Estis while he was crossing outside a marked crosswalk at 83rd Street.

Responding officers declared Estis dead at the crash scene while the SUV was fled on Western Avenue.
