Danny Hampton Dead in Motorcycle Accident at Highway 3 at Division Avenue West

 
BREMERTON, WA (March 21, 2019) – A Tuesday morning motorcycle collision involving a pickup truck turned deadly on Highway 3 at Division Avenue West.
 
Around 6:45 a.m., Washington State Troopers and paramedics responded to the scene after receiving reports of a crash.
 
Reports identified Danny T. Hampton, of Port Hadlock, as the fatal victim and motorcycle rider.
 
According to Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, the 55-year-old collided with a pickup truck, driven by 37-year-old Belfair man, attempting a left turn. The rider had been traveling southbound on Highway 3 as the pickup truck headed north.
 
Per reports, the unidentified pickup truck driver failed to yield to the right-of-way prior to the crash.
 
The incident resulted in a complete road closure for nearly three hours due to investigations. At this time, investigators are seeking the liabilities and circumstances.
