Hemet Resident Danny Ponce Vargas Killed in Highway 74 Collision [Menifee, CA]

Menifee, CA (December 11, 2024) – 28-year-old Hemet resident Danny Ponce Vargas was fatally injured following a Highway 74 collision Monday morning.

The deadly traffic collision happened past 4 a.m. at the intersection with Menifee Road.

The motorcyclist, Danny Ponce Vargas, collided with a sedan and a pickup truck in two separate collisions.

Riverside County Fire Department paramedics declared Ponce Vargas deceased at the scene. 

The other two drivers were not injured. The authorities questioned them but they were not arrested.

Investigators said impairment was not a factor in the collision.
