Ephrata Man Danny Rhoads Transported in T-Bone Crash on Highway 17 [Soap Lake, WA]

Soap Lake, WA (October 1, 2025) – Danny Rhoads, 43, of Ephrata, was injured in a t-bone crash on Highway 17 Monday afternoon.

It was almost 4 p.m. when the collision happened in Soap Lake.

Troopers said southbound 2007 Imperial motorhome driven by Cody Johnson, 71, of Soap Lake, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by an eastbound 1996 Chevy Geotrack driven by Rhoads.

Rescuers rushed Rhoads to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. His 17-year-old passenger, 17, was not injured.

Cody Johnson was also not hurt in this collision.
