One Killed, Three Critically Injured in Moreno Valley Four-Vehicle Crash

Moreno Valley, CA (August 31, 2026) — On Friday evening, a four-vehicle collision on Iris Avenue in Moreno Valley left David Betts dead and three others critically injured.

The crash happened around 7:55 p.m. at the intersection with Lasselle Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies arrived to find four vehicles with significant damage.

Paramedics transported four people to a hospital in critical condition. David Betts, 65, of Menifee later died from his injuries.
