Peterbilt Truck Driver David Deeds Injured in SH 121 Deadly Crash [Fannin County, TX]

Fannin County, TX (July 2, 2026) – David Deeds, 63, of Anna, was injured in a SH 121 deadly vehicle crash Monday morning.

It was before 7 a.m. on June 29 when the collision happened near County Road 4220.

Troopers said a southbound Honda Accord driven by Brianna Holt, 32, of Blue Mound, entered the northbound lanes in a no-passing zone and struck a northbound Peterbilt truck towing a trailer.

Responding officers declared Holt deceased at the crash scene.

Moreover, rescuers rushed the Peterbilt truck’s driver, Deeds, to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are investigating.
