Tesla Driver David Gonzalez Injured in 134 Freeway Shocking Collision [Eagle Rock, CA]

Eagle Rock, CA (April 16, 2025) – A Tesla driver, David Gonzalez, sustained injuries following a 134 Freeway hit-and-run collision Tuesday.

According to the authorities, a driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with several cars, including a two-week old Tesla. 

The Tesla driver, David Gonzalez, sustained a broken arm and back injuries that required surgery. His vehicle was declared a total loss.

Moreover, the suspect causing the collision fled the scene on foot, carrying his clothes and a guitar. The authorities later tracked him into a neighborhood, where they arrested him while he tried to blend in by watering a lawn wearing boxers. Police cited and released him for misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Officers said that while they were searching for the suspect, Jillian Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, fired a gun at police. 

The authorities returned fire, shooting and injuring her. Police arrested and took her to a hospital. She is now facing murder charges.
