Highway 101 Head-On Collision Injures Atascadero Man

San Luis Obispo, CA (March 28, 2022) – On Sunday, the authorities arrested 24-year-old David Lopez of Santa Maria in Highway 101 head-on crash injuring a 37-year-old Atascadero man.

The traffic incident took place minutes before 5:15 a.m. in the freeway’s southbound lanes south of TV Tower Road.

According to the investigators, David Lopez was northbound on a Dodge Challenger in the southbound lanes.
