David Mora Involved in Deadly Collision on Doris Avenue [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (September 27, 2026) — 29-year-old David Mora of Santa Paula was involved in a major multi-vehicle collision on Thursday that left 2 people dead and multiple Injured.

The crash happened around 3:55 p.m. at the intersection of Doris Avenue and Victoria Avenue. Reports say Mora, driving a 2018 GMC Sierra pickup, allegedly ran a red light, causing a collision with a Honda Civic and a Toyota Avalon.

Emergency crews found nine vehicles involved, including the pickup truck that overturned onto a median and another damaged vehicle.

Ventura County Fire Department reported seven patients. Two victims died at the scene, while four injured people went to local hospitals. One patient suffered serious injuries, another sustained moderate injuries, and two others had minor injuries. One person declined hospital transportation.

The Oxnard Fire Department and Oxnard Police Department responded and are investigating the collision.
