2 Drivers Hospitalized in San Bernardino Deadly Crash

San Bernardino, CA (August 17, 2026) – David Ngy, 47, of Helendale, was fatally injured following an Air Expressway collision Saturday evening.

Police said a grey Jeep Cherokee was traveling east on Air Expressway toward Village Drive, when a red Mitsubishi Eclipse turned south onto Village Drive.

The Jeep then crashed onto the Mitsubishi’s passenger side.

Responders declared Ngy, who was a passenger in the Mitsubishi, deceased at the scene.
