David Perez Killed in Brutal Auto Accident on US 84

1 Dead in Littlefield Vehicle Crash on US 84 and South Loop 430

LITTLEFIELD, TX (December 6, 2023) – Sunday night, David Perez died in a brutal auto accident on US 84 and South Loop 430.

The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. on US 84 and South Loop 430.

According to reports, a westbound semi on US 84 approached the Loop 430 intersection. However, 31-year-old Perez driving a passenger car didn’t yield the right-of-way. As a result, he was hit by the semi on the left passenger side of his vehicle.

Then, responders declared the Lubbock resident dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, responders took 32-year-old Kendall Crump, the semi-driver, to the Lamb County Healthcare Center with minor injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
