1 Person Arrested in Lubbock Auto Accident on 4th Street and West Loop 289

LUBBOCK, TX (September 21, 2026) – Saturday morning, David Raymer was injured in an alarming DWI crash on 4th Street and West Loop 289.

The incident happened at around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and West Loop 289.

According to reports, a pickup truck collided with another pickup at the intersection.

Moreover, EMS rushed the driver of the second pickup, identified as 21-year-old David Raymer, to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the first pickup, identified as 38-year-old Mark Garcia, for Intoxication Assault and Resisting Search.
