David Strand Injured, Joseph Duckhein Suspect in DUI Crash on Sunset Highway

 
Spokane, WA (December 14, 2020) – On Saturday, 73-year-old David Strand and 65-year-old Lois Strand were injured in a DUI crash on Sunset Highway.
 
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. when 29-year-old Joseph Duckhein was driving his 2012 Ford Escape passing traffic in the center median on Sunset Highway.
 
Just then, Duckhein’s car struck a 2019 Honda Ridgeline traveling in the turn lane.
 
Ridgeline’s driver, David Strand, incurred minor injuries. His passenger, Lois Strand, was rushed to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
