Elk Grove, CA (August 29, 2025) Early Friday morning, a 39-year-old Sacramento man lost his life after shocking car-bike accident on Calvine Road.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened around 2:30 a.m. between Bader Road and Bradshaw Road.

Reports say that the victim was struck by a car while sitting on his bicycle on Calvine Road.

Elk Grove police confirmed the driver, who was traveling eastbound, stopped and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release his identity.
