One Killed, Three Hurt After Car Crashes Into Tree on I-215 in Murrieta

Murrieta, CA (November 3, 2025) — A deadly crash on Interstate 215 early Saturday morning left one person dead and three others injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:32 a.m. along southbound Interstate 215 near Murrieta Hot Springs Road.

Reports say that a red Toyota Corolla had crashed just north of the Murrieta Hot Springs exit. The initial 911 call came in as an open line before dispatchers learned the vehicle had left the roadway and one of the occupants was on the ground.

Murrieta Fire & Rescue responded and confirmed four people were inside the car. One person was trapped but later freed. All three injured occupants were transported to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Debris from the vehicle scattered across the shoulder as crews worked the scene. Authorities have not released the names or updated conditions of the survivors. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
