Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 15 Claims a Life [Bonsall, CA]

Bonsall, CA (October 16, 2025) — A man lost his life early Tuesday morning after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 15.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. on northbound I-15, just south of Old Highway 395.
Investigators said the driver hit the pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping.

Authorities believe the suspect vehicle may be a Mazda with damage to its left front side or undercarriage. CHP is asking anyone with information about the driver or vehicle to contact the Oceanside Area Office at 760-643-3400.
