According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 4:45 a.m. near the southbound 110 Harbor Freeway in downtown Los Angeles.

Reports say that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian, then fled the scene.

Authorities responded to 3rd Street and Beaudry Avenue after receiving reports of the collision.
