ST LOUIS, MO (August 6, 2026) – Tuesday, a man sustained injuries during a shooting incident on Hiller Place and West Florissant.

The incident happened at 11:40 p.m. on Hiller Place and West Florissant.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, a 34-year-old man died after being shot.

Officers found the victim on a porch with at least two gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.

During the incident, a second man was struck by a vehicle while crossing West Florissant. He was treated at the scene. Police said it is unclear whether the vehicle was connected to the shooting or unrelated to the incident.
