Deadly Traffic Collision on Highway 47 Claims a Life [Warren County, MO]

Warren County, MO (May 25, 2025) – A 69-year-old Wentzville man died Saturday afternoon after a deadly traffic collision on Highway 47.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened at around 1:20 p.m. near Boone Monument Road.

Reports say that the crash involved heavy smoke and traffic congestion on Highway 47 in Warren County.

Authorities say that three southbound vehicles encountered reduced visibility due to thick smoke.

As traffic slowed, the motorcyclist reduced speed but was rear-ended by a Honda sedan. The impact pushed the motorcycle into a minivan ahead.

Emergency responders transported the motorcyclist to Mercy Hospital in Washington, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The 64-year-old minivan driver sustained minor injuries and received treatment at Mercy Hospital.
