One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 175 Near Seagoville

Dallas, TX (May 19, 2025) — Authorities are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash on US 175 that occurred late Saturday night near Seagoville in southeast Dallas County.

Deputies with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene around 10:45 p.m. near U.S. Highway 175 and South Belt Line Road. When emergency crews arrived, they discovered two severely damaged vehicles on opposite sides of the highway.

Investigators said one of the vehicles overturned and came to rest on its roof in the eastbound lanes, while the second vehicle blocked part of a westbound lane. At least one driver was ejected during the collision and died at the scene.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim. Authorities also have not confirmed whether other people suffered injuries in the crash.
