Deadly Vehicle Crash on Wilcrest Drive Kills 2 [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (June 28, 2025) – 2 people were killed in a tragic vehicle crash on Wilcrest Drive early Friday morning.

According to authorities, the fatal crash happened around 12:30 a.m. north of Bexley Drive in Southwest Houston.

Reports say that 2 individuals died when their car crashed into a tree and caught fire on Wilcrest Drive.

Houston Police officers arrived at the scene and found a Honda engulfed in flames with two occupants deceased inside.

Investigators believe the driver was traveling northbound on Wilcrest when they veered off the road and collided with a tree in the median. Police have not yet released the identities of the deceased.

A second vehicle, also a Honda, then struck the crashed car. Its two occupants, however, did not sustain injuries. The Houston Police Department is actively investigating the incident.
