Motorcyclist Dean Sutherland Killed in Collision on Hesperia Road [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (June 12, 2025) – 56-year-old Dean Sutherland of Victorville was killed in a motorcycle collision on Hesperia Road Tuesday night.

The fatal crash involving a a gray Ford F150 and a red BMW R1100RT motorcycle happened around 10:34 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Hesperia Road, south of Jasmine Street.

According to the investigators, the driver of a Ford F-150 appeared to be making a left-hand turn when a red BMW R1100RT motorcycle traveling northb struck the driver’s side of the truck.

Immediately, the rescuers transported Dean Sutherland to Desert Valley Hospital with major injuries. Sadly, he was declared deceased in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Ford’s driver remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The authorities ask witnesses or anyone with information to contact Deputy C. Stanley or Deputy J. Stroik at the Victorville Police Station at (760) 241-2911.
