Unborn Child Killed, Several Hurt in Dallas Hit-and-Run Crash

Dallas, TX (May 24, 2025) — 37-year-old Dedrick Henry is facing multiple felony charges after a deadly hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Dallas that claimed the life of an unborn child and left several others injured.

According to Dallas police, officers responded around 10:45 p.m. to a major collision in the 7400 block of Abrams Road. Investigators said one of the drivers fled the scene before officers arrived.

Authorities later located and arrested Henry in connection with the crash. Police charged him with intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and collision involving death, among other felonies.
