67-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on State Route 7 in Pierce County
Pierce County, WA (April 27, 2026) — Dennis Corrigan, a 67-year-old man from Spanaway, lost his life in a motorcycle crash Saturday night along State Route 7 in south Pierce County.
The collision happened around 9:20 p.m. near Pilgrim Road, an area between Eatonville and Alder Lake Park known for its sharp curves. Corrigan was riding northbound when he collided with one of two vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. After the impact, he came to rest along the northbound shoulder.
Emergency responders pronounced Corrigan dead at the scene.
Both drivers involved in the incident stopped following the crash and were not injured. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
This marks the second fatal motorcycle crash reported in the same area within a week, raising renewed concerns about safety along this stretch of roadway.
