1 Dead in Riverside Auto Accident on University Avenue and Park Avenue

RIVERSIDE, CA (April 20, 2025) – Saturday morning, a 60-year-old man died in a devastating 2-car crash on University Avenue and Park Avenue.

The incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on University Avenue and Park Avenue.

Investigators say a 24-year-old woman driving a gray 2019 Toyota Camry westbound on University crashed into a 2004 Nissan Titan pickup heading south on Park.

Reports said that the impact killed the other driver, who hasn’t been publicly identified.

According to Riverside police, the Camry driver showed signs of cannabis impairment and was arrested at the scene. She was booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
