1 Dead in Sacramento Auto Accident on 1500 Florin Road

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 29, 2026) – Friday night, a woman died in a devastating 2-vehicle crash on 1500 Florin Road.

The incident involving two vehicles happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Florin Road.

Officers arrived and found an adult woman in the roadway with critical injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the second vehicle involved was no longer there when officers arrived. Investigators have not released details about that vehicle or its driver.

The department’s Major Collision Investigation Unit and Crime Scene Investigators are handling the case.

The victim’s identity will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after family members are notified.

Anyone with information is asked to contact dispatch or submit tips through Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers. Anonymous tips may be eligible for a reward.
