1 Person Dead in Elk Grove Auto Accident on Bond Road and Salmon Creek Drive

ELK GROVE, CA (September 30, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a devastating 2-vehicle crash on Bond Road and Salmon Creek Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:50 p.m. on Bond Road and Salmon Creek Drive.

According to the Elk Grove Police Department, an eastbound Toyota Rav4 struck a northbound Lincoln Town Car that tried to make a U-turn in front of a fire station.

Moreover, responders rushed both drivers to a hospital, where the 91-year-old female driver of the Lincoln was later pronounced dead. Also, officers confirmed that the driver of the Rav4 sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
