2 People Dead in Fresno Auto Accident on Walnut Avenue and Jefferson Avenue

FRESNO, CA (December 18, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a devastating 2-vehicle crash on Walnut Avenue and Jefferson Avenue killed two people.

The incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Jefferson Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a northbound Honda Civic failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe. Then, the force of the crash partially ejected a two-year-old passenger from the Honda.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 28-year-old female driver of the Honda dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the 2-year-old girl to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers said that the 17-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet and his 16-year-old male passenger both sustained minor injuries in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
