2 People Dead in Dent County Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 32 near Highway P

DENT COUNTY, MO (August 27, 2026) – Tuesday afternoon, a devastating 3-vehicle crash on Highway 32 near Highway P killed two people.

The incident happened at around 5:35 p.m. on Highway 32 near Highway P.

According to reports, an eastbound 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 failed to yield and rear-ended a 2020 Ford Escape that was stopped and waiting to make a left turn. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Dodge to cross the center of the roadway where it collided with a westbound 1973 Dune Buggy.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 60-year-old male driver of the Dune Buggy and a 59-year-old female passenger of the vehicle, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remain unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued its investigation into the crash.
