AURORA, CO (September 22, 2025) – Friday night, a teenager died in a devastating ATV crash near East 38th Avenue and Odessa Street.


The incident happened at a green space near East 38th Avenue and Odessa Street, a spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department said.

An 18-year-old man was riding a dirt bike, and three boys, whose ages were not specified, were on an ATV when the two vehicles collided on a blind curve of a trail, according to a spokesperson.

Two of the ATV riders were injured and walked back to the road after the crash to call their parents for a ride to the hospital. Along the way, they informed their parents about the collision and stated that they had been unable to locate the dirt bike rider.

Before heading to the hospital, the parents returned to the crash site, where they found the teen rider and called 911. He was pronounced dead when officers arrived.
