1 Person Dead in Grimes County Auto Accident on Deep Forest Trail

GRIMES COUNTY, TX (November 12, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a devastating ATV crash on Deep Forest Trail killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. on Deep Forest Trail.

According to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved an ATV that lost control and crashed for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced an 8-year-old, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a passenger of the ATV to Texas Children’s Hospital with unknown injuries.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.

Due to limited information, the Texas Department of Public Safety continued investigating the crash.
