DALHART, TX (November 27, 2025) – Saturday night, a man died in a devastating hit-and-run crash on Liberal Street and Tanglewood Road.

The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Liberal Street and Tanglewood Road.

When officers arrived, they found a man who had been struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Liberal Street and Tanglewood Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family has been notified.

Police say the driver left the area before they arrived. Investigators are working to identify both the suspect and the vehicle involved. The case is still active.
