1 Dead in Antioch Pedestrian Accident on Marie Avenue and East 18th Street

ANTIOCH, CA (November 15, 2025) – Thursday night, a pedestrian died in a devastating hit-and-run crash on Marie Avenue and East 18th Street.

The incident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Marie Avenue and East 18th Street, Antioch police Lt. Gary Lowther said in a news release.

Officers found the woman lying in the roadway when they arrived. Sgt. Lowther said the victim, a 60-year-old Antioch resident, received medical aid but died at the scene.

The department’s traffic unit is handling the investigation.
