EL PASO, TX (May 26, 2026) – Sunday night, Fernando Villa died in a devastating motorcycle crash on Montana Avenue and Buntline Drive.

The incident happened on Montana Avenue and Buntline Drive.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Special Traffic Investigators, an eastbound motorcycle collided with a car that failed to yield the right of way. Then, the driver of the car fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the motorcyclist, identified as 33-year-old Fernando Villa, died at a hospital from his injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the car driver, identified as 18-year-old Jose Orlando Ruiz Rodriguez, for one count of Accident Involving Death.
