The incident involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at 3:30 p.m. on Peoria Avenue between 79th Avenue and 80th Avenue.

A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials from the Peoria Police Department. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured.
