PHOENIX, AZ (October 21, 2025) – Monday, a person died in a devastating pedestrian crash near 27th Avenue and Northern Avenue.

The incident happened at about 8:37 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Northern Avenue.

Phoenix police said officers found a man with serious injuries after responding to a crash involving a pedestrian. He was taken to a hospital but later died.

Authorities said the vehicle involved left the scene before officers arrived. The victim’s identity has not been released.
