PINION HILLS, CA (December 23, 2025) – Saturday night, a devastating pedestrian crash near Highway 138 and 248th Street East killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:48 p.m. near the intersection of Pearblossom (138) Highway and 248th Street East.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a green Ford F-150 struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed Highway 138 in both directions but has long since reopened.
