1 Dead in Aurora Pedestrian Accident near S Peoria Street and E Tennessee Avenue

AURORA, CO (September 29, 2026) – Friday night, a man died in a devastating pedestrian crash near S Peoria Street and E Tennessee Avenue.

The incident involving two drivers and a pedestrian happened at around 8:15 p.m. near S Peoria Street and E Tennessee Avenue.

A 35-year-old Aurora man was killed after being struck by two vehicles while crossing Peoria Street, according to police.

Police said the man was crossing Peoria Street mid-block just south of Tennessee Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. The impact threw him into the northbound lanes, where he was struck by a second vehicle traveling north.

As a result, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation.

The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s identity.
