AZUSA, CA (August 13, 2026) – Wednesday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway near Citrus Avenue led to fatality.

The incident happened just after 3:30 a.m. on westbound 210 Freeway near Citrus Avenue.

A SigAlert was issued about 15 minutes after the crash, bringing traffic to a standstill across all lanes of the 210 Freeway.

Authorities had not immediately released details about what caused the crash or the identity of the victim. Sky5 was over the scene around 5:45 a.m., showing heavy traffic backed up into the Inland Empire.

The carpool lane reopened at 4:41 a.m., while the remaining lanes stayed closed as crews worked at the scene. By 6:21 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported that the freeway had been cleared and all lanes were open.

Motorists were advised to take southbound State Route 57 to the 10 Freeway before reconnecting with the 210 near Irwindale Avenue.
