MIRA MESA, CA (November 10, 2024) – Saturday morning, a devastating pedestrian crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Westmore Road killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at 1:52 a.m. on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Westmore Road.

San Diego Police reported that a 31-year-old man driving a 2023 Tesla westbound on the boulevard struck a pedestrian who was crossing against a red light. The 29-year-old pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
