EL PASO, TX (November 11, 2025) – Monday morning, a 58-year-old man died in a devastating pedestrian crash on Santa Fe Street.

The incident happened at about 3:00 a.m. in the 300 block of Santa Fe Street near the El Paso Convention Center.

El Paso police report a man was struck by a 2012 Dodge Ram while crossing outside a crosswalk.

His identity has not been released. Authorities say the crash occurred because he was in the roadway rather than using a designated crosswalk.

This marks the 57th traffic fatality in El Paso for 2025, matching the count at the same point in 2024.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
