1 Person Dead in Avondale Auto Accident on Interstate 10 near Avondale Boulevard

AVONDALE, AZ (November 11, 2023) – Thursday morning, a devastating rollover crash on Interstate 10 near Avondale Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10, between Fairway Drive and Avondale Boulevard.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident involved three vehicles, including one that rolled over during the crash.

Moreover, firefighters extricated one person who was trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported the victim with serious injuries to a hospital, where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the crash leaves only two westbound lanes open, but all lanes have long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
