BELTON, TX (May 14, 2026) – Wednesday afternoon, a devastating semi-truck crash on 3358 FM-439 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:26 p.m. on 3358 FM-439.

According to the Bell County Sheriff’s Office, a Pure Sanitation Services trash truck and a passenger car collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the truck to crash into a Lake Food Mart.

Moreover, responders pronounced a driver dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported another driver to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center with unknown injuries.
