2 Dead in Richmond Auto Accident on Carlson Boulevard and Florida Avenue

RICHMOND, CA (January 13, 2024) – Friday morning, a devastating single-vehicle crash on Carlson Boulevard and Florida Avenue killed 2 people.

The incident happened at the intersection of Carlson Boulevard and Florida Avenue, said the Richmond Fire Department.

Officers said that the incident involved a single vehicle, leading to the deaths of two people.

Meanwhile, video footage revealed that a black car, split into thirds, with a section of the vehicle pressed into a tree. After the crash, the rear half of the vehicle rested near the median. Moreover, officers also located the front of the vehicle, with its hood slightly elevated into the air by the two front tires.

Furthermore, the crash shut down Carlson Boulevard between Ohio Avenue and Cutting Boulevard, as investigators worked at the scene.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
