1 Person Dead in Yolo County Auto Accident on County Road 102 and County Road 16

YOLO COUNTY, CA (November 11, 2025) – Sunday night, a devastating wrong-way crash on County Road 102 and County Road 16 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:20 p.m. on County Road 102 and County Road 16.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound Acura crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a northbound Hyundai.

Moreover, responders pronounced a passenger of the Acura dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the Acura’s driver, another passenger of the vehicle, and the Hyundai’s driver to a hospital, all with major injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
