1 Dead in Scottsdale Bicycle Accident on Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (December 9, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a horrific bicycle crash on Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway killed Devin Curran, 51.

The incident involving a bicycle happened at about 4:00 p.m. on Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Officers said the bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the hospital. The other driver stayed at the scene.

Thompson Peak Parkway was closed between Raintree Drive and Redfield Road for several hours while detectives investigated. They’re still working to determine what caused the crash.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
