18-Year-Old Deztiny Rodriguez Dead in Evergreen Street Collision [Fresno, TX]

Fresno, TX (April 1, 2025) –  18-year-old Deztiny Rodriguez was killed in an Evergreen Street collision late Saturday night.

It was around 10:40 p.m. when the deadly crash happened near South Post Oak Boulevard.

Officers said Rodriguez was walking down Evergreen Street with her boyfriend, 17-year-old Aaron Felix, when the collision happened.

The accident report stated that 34-year-old Darius Dickerson’s SUV passed Rodriguez’s boyfriend, and Rodriguez was flung into a ditch.

Moreover, witnesses said Dickerson briefly stopped to examine the damage to his vehicle and then drove off. Dickerson turned himself in to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office more than 17 hours after the deadly collision.
