Diana Ruth Martinez Killed in Tragic Multi-Car Crash on Loop 410 [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (December 7, 2024) On Thursday evening, 37-year-old Diana Ruth Martinez lost her life after a horrific multi-car crash on Loop 410.

According to San Antonio police, the fatal crash happened at about 10:14 p.m. on the 1300 block of the SW Loop 410 access road.

Reports say that collision involved two Ford Mustangs on San Antonio’s west side.

Authorities say that Martinez drove her Honda Odyssey onto the 1300 block of the SW Loop 410 access road from Waters Edge with two children in the vehicle. A 1998 Ford Mustang rear-ended her vehicle, causing it to be redirected into another lane, where it was struck by a 2015 Ford Mustang in a secondary crash.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the two children in her vehicle were unharmed.

Both Mustang drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police determined neither was intoxicated and neither sustained injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
